Looking West

This view from several thousand feet above Zion National Park shows an early morning view across many of the main formations of the park. The mountain in the distance (upper right) is Pine Valley Mountain which rises over 10,000'. The tops of the formations in the foreground are approximately 6,000' in elevation. Views toward Snow Canyon State Park With the right angle, views of the natural formations in the St. George area are even more spectacular.
